• Invitation Inspiration – “Classy Keys” Wedding Set

classyKeys-sqare

This beautiful wedding set was submitted by Sarah, an independent invitation designer. What we love about this submission is the way the bold colors elegantly combine to set the theme for this beach wedding, and how that theme is carried through from the save-the-dates to the invitation.  We also adore the round monogram seal on the front!

The invitation was printed on an ink-jet printer, and assembled using double-stick tape.

Sarah’s Comments:

This “Classy Keys” Wedding Stationary set was created for a customer of mine who will be saying “I do” on Konch Key in 2010.

She gave me one photo of a bride with a very modern yet tropical bouquet. With it I created this beautiful set.  I love the bright, modern, contrast of these colors. Since it is a beach wedding I had to bring the outdoor (slightly casual) elements back in. That is why I decided to use the natural color raffia and the linen textured paper. The combo, together, is a perfect blend of classy outdoors.

A few things I learned: Always get paper samples. Whether you are a bride or professional it is so vital to have the proper color swatches to review, compare and verify. Read the fine print when ordering and have fun creating!!
