- Beautiful Boxed Invitations
Many of you have inquired about boxes for your Pocketfold® and Envelopments® invitations. We have been searching for a supplier for perfectly fitting boxes… and finally have found some that are just right!
For the 5 x 7 size invitations, we are now offering these beautiful presentation boxes that are sized at 5.5 x 7.5 x 5/8″ deep. They are perfect for protecting your pockets through the mail, especially if your invites are adorned with ribbons, rhinestones, seashells, or other bulky but beautiful decoration that just won’t work in a regular envelope.
The boxes coordinate with many of our Envelopments colors, and you can also line the interior with cardstock or paper (even print with your monogram if you like). In this example we lined the interior of the Chocolate box with C4 Coral NOU69 to coordinate with the C3 POUT pocketfold shown. We also layered the address label on the front of the box. (Be sure your post office hand-cancels these types of layered labels. Note that boxes will require additional postage.)
These boxes (except the gloss black) are matte finish boxes. We also carry an extra large and an extra deep box for the 5 x 7 invitations, and a box for the 7 x 7 invitation and the 6 x 9 invitation, all in white gloss.
Normally, you don’t necessarily need your box to be matching exactly with the stocks, as you’d perhaps use these as an accent color. But, for these 5 x 7 boxes that have similar coordinating colors, we’ve taken some close-ups below to help you decide what will work with what. Please keep in mind that your computer screen will not always give you an accurate view. (The boxes are from a different supplier, so these shots will show you how they look with Envelopments stock.)
The gloss black is a true black and coordinates well with all of our black stocks. You cannot see it in the image, but under some lights, the Vinyl is just a touch “bluer” than the gloss black box.
The matte black box is also a good match for all the blacks and grays/silvers.
For the Navy box, Lapis and Good Night were the closest matches, but think how lovely this would look with a white invite with navy accents!
Our Sky box most closely matches C3 Navajo stock as you can see in the image (and it’s a little too blue for the Caspian). However this is a great blue to coordinate with your “Sky” themed invites.
The matte Sage box is great with our C3 Cactus stock, and really close to Wasabi as well. It coordinates well with other greens if needed.
Our matte Natural box is not an exact match for the PC100 Kraft stock, but hopefully you can see from our selections of golds and neutrals the color of this lovely box. It would be gorgeous paired with a green or a blue invitation with a “nature” theme.
We’re so excited about the matte Chocolate box. It goes great with all of our browns and is very close to Cocoa cardstock. It will pair well with any invitation using brown accents.
Our Matte White box (also available in Gloss White in the larger sizes) pairs well with any of our bright white stocks, and is certainly a neutral that could go with anything. Our Cranberry box unfortunately doesn’t match any of our existing stocks very well, but is a fun color that could serve as the perfect accent if you are trying to tie in this color.
We don’t yet have samples available, but hope this helps you find the perfect color. If you need help with color selections or sizing for interior liners, please give us a call. These are from various manufacturers, so note the shipping times and minimum quantities for each style. Click here to order.
