Congratulations Kelsea & Andrew!
We had so much fun working with this couple to design their perfect invitations. When Kelsey first came to us, she wasn’t quite sure what she wanted design-wise. She knew her invitation colors and that she wanted a Pocket Card invitation, so we started there. Kelsea wanted a rustic look, to match the feel of the Lake House where they were getting married, but also wanted to convey a very elegant style.
Above, is the final invitation, and we absolutely LOVE it. But with anything, sometimes it takes a little time & effort to figure out exactly what you want. So, based on our conversations and a little research on the venue, we came up with several different invitation drafts for the couple to choose from.
Each invitation design had a different look and feel, using varied fonts, graphics, and layouts.
We created several designs before Kelsea & Andrew narrowed it down to “the ONE”. As a designer, I love to see the progression of an invitation, bringing together elements from different samples to create something that is perfect and personal to the couple. Here are a few more samples.
Which style would you choose?
In the end, Kelsea & Andrew chose the design below, along with a Chi Latte 5 x 7 Portrait Pocket Card, a Mint Backing Layer (and Mint RSVP and Outer envelopes), with Black & Taupe ink printed in thermography (raised ink) on Classic Ecru Cardstock for the printed invitation and RSVP card.
They turned out absolutely GORGEOUS!
