Thalia and Cedric were looking for some English-Garden-meets-Aphrodite-glam when they chose the colors for this wedding invitation ensemble. With a wedding color palette of Mint and Blush and (gold) Bullion/Ginger , they restrained themselves on the Save the Date with a simple gilded Twist Card (and the buzz began).

When they considered all their information for the Wedding Invitation, they realized they could keep it somewhat simple, they curtailed their text to fit a 5×7 Gate Card. They loved its simplicity and since all they needed were an invite, response set and a directions/accommodations card, it was the perfect format to work with. To insure it’s legibility, we used the flourished script only to highlight their names and to head the insert cards using a clean mixed type for the body copy. And just for fun, we added Jade to the Bullion backing to up the contrast. I can already picture the bridal party in their luminous mint dresses holding pink flowers, and boy I want those gilded shoes!
